The Arabica beans used for Kenon SuperMax are carefully selected from the best coffee-growing regions in Guatemala, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Brazil. These regions are characterised by excellent coffee growing and offer a wide variety of aromas and flavour profiles. Arabica beans give Kenon SuperMax Bar subtle acidity, full body and elegant nuances.

Robusta beans come from the exotic regions of Côte d'Ivoire and Congo. These powerful beans add depth and strength to the blend. With their distinctive/typical 'spiciness' and strong character, they add a pronounced note to SuperMax espresso.

SuperMax coffee is roasted in the Neapolitan tradition. This special roasting gives the coffee a strong, rich flavour. The beans are roasted slowly and gently to allow all the aromas and variety of flavours to emerge. Traditional Neapolitan roasting produces a low-acid espresso with little caffeine but plenty of volume and flavour. Of course, each variety is roasted individually and delicately according to its roasting profile, to extract the maximum from each bean.
