Trucillo's Professional Line: The Delicate One
Trucillo Caffè has taken its high level of expertise in the art of roasting and passion for coffee to a whole new level with this specimen. With the introduction of their Professional line, Trucillo once again improved its high-class bar blends. These go far beyond what is considered a high standard even in Italy in terms of quality. To guarantee absolutely perfect and flawless processing and roasting, Matteo Trucillo personally takes care of the process. These varieties are particularly close to the heart of the founder's son.
The raw beans for this blend come from Central & South America and Asia. The best beans are selected from each batch, refined by variety and finally combined to create this exquisite blend. The roasting is done gently and slowly in a drum roaster. The single-variety roasting is so important because each bean variety has its own characteristics and demands. Separate roasting prevents large green coffee beans from not yet being fully roasted and small, fine pearl beans from already being burnt. But Trucillo is happy to take this trouble. After all, customers should not get a product that is only "good", but excellent. In 2020, the roastery celebrated its 70th anniversary. The long-standing cooperation with trustworthy green coffee traders guarantees consistently impeccable quality. This is always the highest priority for Caffè Trucillo.
The result of this elaborate and passionate work is ultimately reflected in the cup. The Gran Bar is defined by its perfect interplay of Arabica and robusta beans. Full, slightly fruity aroma from the Arabicas and intense richness from the Robustas. An espresso cannot harmonise any better. The taste has delicious notes of honey, chocolate and roasted almonds. The Robusta portion provides a fine-pored, hazelnut-brown crema that lasts an exceptionally long time. Every sip tastes simply heavenly and the best thing is - the pleasant reverberation remains on the palate for a long time. A pleasure as it is written in the book.
