Saturno Caffè

The Art of Coffee Roasting Since 1952

Master roasters with decades of experience combine separately roasted varieties to create unique blends.

In 1952, in Alessandria, a man named Pietro Notti developed a deep passion for a product that was becoming increasingly popular in the post-war era: coffee. Notti recognized its potential and began roasting and marketing his own coffee blends. Over the decades, the small workshop grew into a steadily expanding business. Traditional craftsmanship and the taste of the final product have always remained paramount. The quality of the green beans has continually improved, and the blends have become more refined and complex. The perfect balance between Arabica and Robusta, and the incomparable harmony between body and aroma, are the hallmarks of Saturno coffees.

To confirm the high standards and quality of its coffees, Torrefazione Saturno has already received several prestigious awards. These include two gold medals at the International Coffee Tasting and the victory of professional barista Filippo Mezzaro at the 2014 Espresso Italiano Champion competition. Since 2004, Saturno has been an official member of the Italian National Institute of Espresso (INEI), a prestigious and globally recognized label. Since 1998, the Institute has been safeguarding and promoting true Italian espresso.
