28 years ago, Brao espresso was the result of a long-lasting coffee passion. Merlin Oddene was trader for raw coffee when his love for espresso inspired him to create his own coffee brand. In 1987, he created the Brao brand with its first blends Oro and Argento, composed by his own recipes. Brao Coffee is well represented through Italy's Northeast and in Trentino. Thanks to the outstanding quality, Brao Coffee is entitled to carry the quality seal "Espresso Italiano qualità".

Brao Caffè belongs to Mokamo
MOKAMO s.r.l. is a roasting company from Trento in Trentino-Alto Adige. The founder of the company was Merlin Oddene in the 60s. He created the first variety based on an old house recipe in 1987 - the Brao Caffe! Already 1 year later, the ever increasing demand for quality was taken into account and the 100% Arabica Espresso of Mrs. Rose conquered the coffee market.
The company benefited especially from the help of a very old traditional roastery in Treviso. In order to guarantee even more safety and quality to its customers, Mokamo joined early on the "Quality Italian Espresso" label, awarded by a coffee laboratory in Trieste.
The latest additions to the company's range are the MOKAMO dolce and MOKAMO forte varieties. After this latest creation and the transformation from a partnership to a limited company, the name has also changed from "Brao Caffe - Centro Caffe Trento s.a.s" to "Mokamo s.r.l.".
