Completion of the contract:
When you place an order to purchase a product from espresso-international.com, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt and details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us subject to acceptance, confirmation and delivery logistics. We reserve the right to partial acceptance and delivery.
In the case of force majeure and other unforseeable, extraordinary circumstances we will be released from our liability. We are obligated to report to you without delay any non-availability of these goods ordered by you and in the case of cancellation on our part to reimburse you immediately for any amounts already paid.
Prices:
The prices listed remain valid until revocation. We offer no guarantee of the correctness of the prices marked but we endeavour to keep these correct at all times. Your total order price will include the price of the product (at the date of your order) including the German sales tax (VAT) plus shipping charges.
Delivery:
We deliver your order to you by post or parcel service as quickly as possible; usually within 2 - 3 working days. We reserve the right to partial deliveries. In these cases we will pay any additional costs.
If we are inhibited in the case of force majeure and other unforseeable events outside our will (e.g. breakdowns, strikes or delays in the supplying by our pre-suppliers) from fulfilling our obligation within the expected time the delivery time will be extended by an appropriate length. If the delivery becomes impossible or unreasonable due to the previously listed circumstances we will be released from our liability. In so far as the delay in delivery exceeds an unreasonable time, you are entitled to withdraw from the contract. If the delivery time is extended or if we are released from our liability, you can initiate claims for any losses only in the case of fault or gross negligence on our part.
Delivery rates:
For deliveries within the UK (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Channel Islands), Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Monaco and Netherlands we charge you the amount of GBP 4,42 .
Deliveries in other countries can be made only when paying by cash in advance. Please contact info@espresso-international.com so that we can determine the corresponding freight charge.
Minimum order value:
Please note that there is a minimum order value of GBP 40,00.
Payment methods:
Paying by debit entry: we will not debit money from your bank account until just before your ordered items are dispatched. (Please note that in the event of a partial delivery the total amount of the order already becomes due at the time of the first delivery, since your authorization is valid only for the total amount). If the debit entry cannot be realized by your bank, please be aware of our charging you the incurring bank charges.
Damages in transit:
Please check the delivery immediately upon receipt for completeness and intactness. If the parcel is damaged externally, please immediately inform the deliverer before accepting the goods. If the parcel is intact, but the goods are damaged or faulty, again please inform the deliverer without delay. In both instances please also contact info@espresso-international.com. If you assign claims against the carrier you will receive compensation/replacement for the damaged items at your earliest convenience. The complaint period is 14 days.
Right of Revocation:
If you are a customer and if you have aquired our products by using means of telecommunications (such as by email or Internet) you have a right of revocation in accordance with the provisions below:
You may revoke your contractual declaration within a period of two weeks in written form (such as by letter, facsimile transmission or email) without stating the reasons therefore. The time limit commences not earlier than upon the receipt of these instructions. The sending of the revocation in good time shall be sufficient to determine compliance with the time limit for revocation.
You cannot claim your right of revocation if the goods
- were specially produced according to your wishes
- were clearly tailored to your personal needs
- are not suited for return due to their nature (i.e. perishable goods or whose best before date would expire)

The costs of the return are refunded by us provided that the value of the product given back exceeds GBP 27,00. In case of doubt please arrange the modalities of the return with us. We do not accept unstamped shipments. Perishable goods, such as coffee, chocolate or pastries, can be taken back only in unopened condition (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact).
Consequences of revocation
In the event of an effective revocation the performances mutually received, and the benefits derived (if any) shall be returned. If the goods have deteriorated compensation for lost value can be requested. This does not apply if the deterioration can be attributed exclusively to examination of the goods – as might have happened, for example, in a shop. In other respects you can avoid the compensation obligation by not taking the goods into use as an owner and refrain from doing anything which reduces their value.
Status of ownership rights:
All goods are delivered under conditions relating to retention of ownership stipulated in paragraph 455 of the BGB (German Civil Code). The goods supplied remain our property until the complete settlement of all principal and subsidiary claims.
Other:
These conditions and all legal relationships of the parties are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
If individual conditions of this contract have no effect or cease to be effective or contain a loophole, the remaining conditions remain unaffected.
Place of jurisdiction:
The place of jurisdiction for both parties is the district court of justice in Hamburg

Any personal information that you may share with us (and with our business partners that assist us in fulfilling your order) is kept absolutely confidential. Neither your name nor anything about you is sold to or shared with any other non-affiliated company or agency.
